2010 Childbirth Education Schedule
The 2010 Childbirth Education 7 Week and 2 Day Intensive Schedule is now available for download (PDF, 32Kb) and online.
We have made an online form available for enrolment. No hassle with printing and filling the form or posting the cheque. Enrol online and get instructions how to pay by email. (You can still post the form and the cheque if you so wish)
This course is designed to help you settle into parenthood and flows on from your childbirth education (antenatal) class. It is a series of four morning sessions (10am-12pm) that cover a variety of topics.
We are looking for Volunteers
Please consider volunteering some of your time to WSPC as an Antenatal Briefer. As you know, Parents Centre is an organization entirely run by volunteers. We depend on our members to continue providing quality childbirth and parent education services. At this very moment we have two Briefer positions to fill - these two fine people do the briefing of our volunteers prior to the class.

More Retailers Join the Membership Discount Scheme
Membership benefits just got better - have you noticed the number of retailers offering discounts to Parents Centre members has increased in the last few months?
With the launch of the region newsletter "The Sandbox", all advertisers and discounters of all six of the region's Parents Centres were offered the opportunity to be involved region wide, and most have taken up the offer. They have also been provided with posters to put up to remind you to ask for the discount.
So remember to take your membership card with you whenever you go shopping or "up the coast", and look out for the posters advertising Parents Centre discounts.
If you have any suggestions for other retailers to approach, please contact us.
