Located on the mezzanine of the Wellington City Library, it opens on to Civic Square so if it's too busy inside, (weekdays 12 - 2pm), you can eat outside in the Square. Open Monday to Friday 7.30am - 6pm, Saturday 9am - 5pm, Sunday 11am - 4pm.
Chocolate Frog in Miramar
Friendly relaxed cafe, exceptional breakfast and lunch menu, out of this world baking and supreme coffee. Lots of easy takeaway food for people on the run, majorly good milkshakes and smoothies too. Very child friendly with a good 'kids' menu, high chairs, toys. The Cafe also delivers to and takes orders (via Text!) from the Palmers Playground - picnic benches and tables to relax at whilst the children play. The Front Room, Tutere Rd, Waikanae
a lovely cafe in an old bach, on the beachfront road at Waikanae ? a great destination for a day trip, or stopover on a longer journey, wonderful food for adults (brunch from 10 til 3), some kids meals (including lunch snack packs), a box of toys, chairs in the garden area, (only one) high chair, and both table and sofa seating. Across the road, there?s playground equipment, sand dunes, a petanque court and, of course, the beach.
