Parents Centre is a nationwide voluntary organization set up by parents for parents. WSPC provides a wide range of childbirth and parenting classes and resources to parents and parents to be in the central city, southern and eastern areas of Wellington.
You can also join as a member and receive a variety of benefits such as discounts at selected stores throughout Wellington, as well as receiving our bi-monthly regional newsletter 'The Sandbox' and the national magazine 'Kiwi Parent' which are full of useful tips and information.

Munching Parent Education Class
16th August 2010 and 1st November 2010, the session covers introducing solid foods to your baby in stages (Stage one - 6 months; Stage two - 7-8 months; and, Stage three - 8-12 months)
Sleep Parent Education Class
30th of September, the session covers general sleep issues and strategies for helping your baby to sleep.
Baby and You class in August - December 2010
This course is designed to help you settle into parenthood and flows on from your childbirth education (antenatal) class. It is a series of four morning sessions (10am-12pm) that cover a variety of topics.

2010 Practical Parenting Schedule
The 2010 Practical Parenting Schedule has been put online. A two hour session of "baby stuff" - demonstration and discussion of bedding, nappies, clothing, bathing, buggies, must-haves and must-avoids, and everything else, with lots of tips and questions and answers.

We depend on our members to continue providing quality childbirth and parent education services.
