Cherrytree Family Fun Day in aid of Wellington Free Ambulance

Saturday 21st November 2009
9am - 4pm
Everyone welcome; bring your friends!

It's a date for your diaries! Bring your friends and family as the team at Cherrytree is taking over the car park in Glover Court, Ngauranga Gorge! The aim is to raise enough $$s to buy a LifePak mobile defibrillator for Wellington Free Ambulance (worth $5000).

There will be various activities throughout the day, including: Paint a real ambulance - oh yes, we're not kidding! They are going to cover a real ambulance with special film and the kids can go wild with the paint between 10 am and midday! The paramedics will also be on hand to give the kids (big and small!) a look inside an ambulance and also to be bandaged!

Then there'll be a bouncy castle, face painting, henna tattooing, sausage sizzle, ice cream, wise advice from Civil Defence for family safety in an emergency, raffles, silent auction plus Santa and much much more! More FM will be with us on site till 11 am ... and there's a rumour that Fairy Trina's flying in for a visit! More to be revealed later!

If you or anyone you know wants to participate/help out with the fundraising by hosting a fun activity then please contact Tracey Lewis.

Also, if you can help out by advertising the event through your school/kindy/childcare centre or workplace, then give Tracey a shout and she'll send you some flyers to put in pockets/on notice boards.

The more people there, the more fun to be had and the more chance of meeting the fundraising target ... to buy a LifePak mobile defibrillator that will help Wellington Free Ambulance save lives in Wellington
